Matthew Phillips is responsible for advising the company’s overall strategic direction, growth and execution. Matthew founded TAP Solutions with the vision of combining a new, forward-thinking software solution with sound business practices to create a more effective and optimized path to business growth for clients.
Prior to founding Tap Solutions Matthew has previously held Executive and Leadership roles at healthcare organizations such as Catholic Health Initiatives, the McKesson Corporation, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Children’s Health of Atlanta. Under his executive leadership, Matthew has delivered strategic guidance to drive successful enterprise software implementations, while managing substantial budgets and large international teams.
Working in healthcare, Matthew saw how difficult it was for hospital systems to manage the large, outsourced workforce of vendors, consultants and healthcare professionals. Healthcare organizations had to manually manage the sourcing, hiring, tracking, accounting, invoicing and payment of each vendor. He experienced first-hand where all the bottlenecks were, and then developed a groundbreaking new software program that solved each of them. A program that added predictive analytics. That was the beginning of TAP Solutions.
Matthew has received a B.S. from Eastern Kentucky University, an M.S. in Chemistry from Wright State University, and an M.B.A. from Colorado State University. He also has certifications in Project Management (PMP), is an Agile Certified Scrum Master, and is certified in Six Sigma Lean operations.
